7) WATER YOUR LAWN EARLY IN THE MORNING OR IN THE EVENING WHEN THE SUN IS NOT VERY BRIGHT!!! Doing this will help conserve so that when you water your lawn the water will be absorbed and not evaporate under the heat of the sun!

6) LEAVE BUCKETS OR A BARREL IN YOUR YARD TO CATCH RAIN WATER AND USE IT LATER TO WATER GRASS AND PLANTS!!! (GREAT IDEA HUH?!)

5) TAKE SHORTER SHOWERS!!! A minimum of 2.5 gallons of water per minute is wasted during a shower, this means that you use approximately 25 gallons of water when taking a 10 minute shower! TRY TO CUT IT DOWN TO at least 5 MINUTES!!!! You will save 12.5 gallons of water!

• Washed our hands about 105 times!
• Showered about 78 times!
• (Moms) Washed dishes about 54 times!
• Did the laundry about 62 times!
• Flushed the toilet about 89 times!
• Brushed our teeth about 210 times!
